The rum category keeps growing with more and more delicious offerings for us to choose from.

This storied spirit has been around since the 17th Century and is no longer the “kill-devil” it once was. Referred to as ”hot, hellish and terrible liquor” in a 1651 document in Barbados, today it can be a rich and complex drink that rivals whisky and cognac.

We will discuss and taste several styles of rum, from white to spiced to dark as well as small production, pot-still versions that are sure to make you a rum lover.
