Big Rock Traditonal Ale
For 35 years now Big Rock Brewery has been committed to craft beer. Traditional Ale or 'Trad' as it's now affectionately known, is a popular English-style brown ale that became the yardstick against which many other Alberta beers have been measured since its launch back in 1985. The recipe remains unchanged, and the beer still holds benchmark status among brewers and beer lovers alike. We enjoy Trad on its own or coupled with a delicious serving of fish and chips or a shepherd’s pie. The toasty malt notes, hints of sweet caramel, along with creamy nut flavors (accompanied by mild hop bitterness in the beer) meld nicely and complement food flavors.
