Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift idea that keeps giving year round? Consider gifting your special someone or valued employee a Vin Bin at Co-op Wine Spirits Beer.
Co-op Wine Spirits Beer’s Vin Bin Program is the Ultimate Gift
Vin Bin is a unique and exclusive program to Co-op that works with you or your gift recipient to select specific wines that are a perfect match each month. You choose the nearest participating store location and a locked cabinet is reserved for you inside the store. Vin Bin is available at Co-op Wine Spirits Beer locations in Beddington, Mount Pleasant, Crowfoot, Midtown, Oakridge and Shawnessy.
Vin Bin members will meet with Co-op’s wine experts, who are trained sommeliers, and go over a series of questions about tastes, preferences and interests with respect to wine. Once their sommelier has an idea of the member's wine personality, a selection of wines will be hand-picked specifically for them each month.
Giving a Vin Bin as a gift is ideal for the business associate or friend who finds wine enjoyable, but intimidating. With Vin Bin, they’re getting a wine tour guide, a designated driver of the world’s wine regions who will help navigate the sometimes complex and unfamiliar territory, with the safety net of an expert guide.
So Much More Than “Wine of the Month” Clubs
Vin Bin is much more valuable than joining a “wine of the month” club because many of those simply offer mass shipments of wine chosen at random and in bulk. With Vin Bin, there’s ongoing personal attention and wines designed to wow. This is not a "one size fits all" wine program. Plus, Vin Bin members are VIP customers who essentially have our sommelier team on speed dial to assist with all things wine, spirits and beer.
How Does Vin Bin Work?
You’ll set a budget for each month using a pre-authorized credit card (with a minimum investment of $150 permonth) and then on the first Friday of each month your Vin Bin gift recipient arrives to unlock their cabinet and find an array of wines inside. Each selection is carefully tailored to their tastes, and regional preferences—and your budget. Tasting notes, pairings and in-depth information for each product is also provided. They just grab and go. It’s like unwrapping a custom tailored gift every month, and a way to remind them you care, all through the year.
Co-op Wine Spirits Beer’s Vin Bin program is like having the ultimate concierge service for wine. For more information on the program, visit your nearest participating Calgary Co-op Wine Spirits Beer location: Beddington, Mount Pleasant, Crowfoot, Midtown, Oakridge and Shawnessy or contact us with any questions you have about the program.
