A tasting for the ages! The history of the Antinori’s famous Tignanello dates back to its first release in 1971. Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first contemporary red wine blended with untraditional varieties (specifically Cabernet Sauvignon) and one of the first red wines in the Chianti Classico region that didn’t use white grapes. It was controversial, to say the least. In this special evening we will uncork a flight of library wines from this acclaimed and historic winery, including a vertical of the famous Tignanello. An evening not to be missed by any wine aficionado, history buff, or lover of velvety red wines.
