Bolla Amarone della Valpolicella
At this point, deep into winter our palates have change from light patio sippers to wines that have some substance and body, perfect for pairing with the savory seasonal foods.
A go to for me is an Amarone. A well known wine style to many for its heavy velvet texture and warm, comforting appeal. It has the structure and body that pairs well with stews, Sunday roast beef and the rich dishes of the season.
