An advanced course, designed to provide detailed analysis of the principal wines of the world. In this 16 half-day conveniently spaced course out over a 4 month period students will gain in-depth knowledge of wine production, global wine regions, as well as fortified and sparkling wine. Students will also benefit from the in-depth tastings where they will learn to identify product style and quality using the Systematic Approach to Tasting. Successful participants will receive the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate.

All glassware, text, and workbooks provided. Examination is on the last day – This course will be completed in just over a 4-month period, texts and workbooks will be provided well in advance for study preparation. The examination consists of a blind-tasting component, a multiple-choice section, and detailed written answers. Additional 2 to 3-hour classes are included with your tuition fees for fine-tuning blind tasting techniques and written exam question-answer practice.

April 4th / 11th / 18th / 25th   MAY 2nd – Tasting & Theory Exams.
