In a small dish, combine the chili powder and salt.
Rub the rim of a tall glass with the lime wedge. Dip the mouth of the glass into the salt mixture.
In the same glass, combine the lime juice, Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce, and stir gently. Add the clamato juice. Fill with ice cubes. Top up with the beer and garnish with the lime wedge.
Hold the back of a spoon over the glass and gently pour over one shot of overproof rum (don’t overfill the glass). Using a self-extinguishing lighter, carefully light the top of the drink and allow it to burn until it extinguishes itself before drinking.
Alternate flaming technique: Add the overproof rum to a shot glass. Set the rum on fire and very carefully drop the shot glass into the beer and clamato mixture. The fire will heat the glass so protect your fingers.
