In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring 3 cups sparkling cider, pear juice, vanilla bean, and cloves to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 7 minutes.

Remove from heat, and stir in brandy and orange liqueur.

Strain liquid through a fine-mesh sieve into a heatproof pitcher.

Pour into mugs. Top off each with a splash of remaining sparkling cider and garnish with 1 pear round.
