Wild Buck

A variant of the Kentucky Buck – bucks are a family of cocktails made with ginger ale/beer and citrus and can be based on any liquor.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz CO-OP Rye Whiskey
  • 4 thin slices of ginger
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 4 oz ginger kombucha

How to Make It

1.

In a shaker add in ginger and both lemon wedges.

2.

Muddle with a fork or the back of a wooden spoon until lots of liquid is released and it smells like ginger and lemon.

3.

Fill with ice and add in rye.

Shake well – until the sides of the shaker are cold.

5.

Strain into a colins glass filled with ice.

6.

Top with ginger kombucha and stir well.

7.

Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge.

The Wild Buck is a smoother version of your traditional Buck cocktails, replacing the usually spicy ginger beer for a ginger kombucha to add a depth of flavour and probiotic cultures.
